I’ve got a big podcast addiction (to say the least) and I tend to listen to quite a few every week, especially when I’m commuting to work (I commute approximately 45 minutes to and back from work every day).
Given all this time I spend commuting I looked for different activities to make that time go faster, and listening to interesting and educational podcasts definitely is one of the better activities I’ve tested.
I’ve listened to a ton of podcasts throughout the years but today I’ll give you 5 of my favorites.
The Tropical MBA
Dan and Ian are THE bosses! I’ve been listening to their podcast for ages and they just simply over deliver on value and great insights.
They discuss various aspects of business and they give you an insight how they run their businesses, the mistakes they’ve made and the successes they’ve experienced.
This is definitely one of my absolute favorite podcasts.

Mixergy
Mixergy is the brainchild of Andrew Warner, an entrepreneur and excellent podcaster.
Mixergy is a series of interviews with entrepreneurs from a lot of different industries and type of businesses.
What I like about Mixergy is the depth of the interviews as well as the different characteristics of them.
You’ll hear about people bragging about how much money they’ve made, people explaining in excruciating detail the fatal mistakes they’ve made with their businesses as well as people explaining how they just simply got lucky and became millionaires.
Fascinating stuff!

The Smart Passive Income Podcast
Pat Flynn has pretty much become a podcasting sensation and superstar with his podcast “The Smart Passive Income Podcast”.
In the Smart Passive Income Podcast Pat details his journey from being fired from his architecture job to completely switch his life around and make money online by creating e-books and making affiliate sites.
He also has a ton of different guests talking about various types of businesses: SEO, affiliate marketing, E-commerce, consulting etc. – you name it!
Pat’s a great guy and every time I listen to the podcast I become motivated and I feel enthusiastic about working on my Internet projects.

SEO Podcast, from VisibleHQ.com
The SEO Podcast from VisibleHQ.com features host Sean Markey and carefully selected guests who talk about SEO, private blog networks, link building, algorithms and Google’s various filters.
This is one of the newer podcasts I’ve started to listen to since I realized that I needed to learn SEO.
Private blog networks seem to be all the rave right now for SEO and this podcast has quite a few episodes detailing how to acquire domains for your network, how to create content and links and where to host your network.
It’s a really fascinating podcast.

Travel Like a Boss Podcast
The Travel Like a Boss Podcast is a podcast about Johnny who primarily lives in Thailand and does drop-shipping (E-commerce that is) for a living.
He started out with pretty much nothing in his bank account and he’s now very successful with his drop-ship stores.
The podcast also regularly features guests (most of them also doing drop-shipping) as well as conversations about various entrepreneurial hubs in Asia (Chiang Mai, Saigon, etc.) and other amazing places to see.
Definitely check it out!
